*MAY BE GRAPHIC FOR SOME* (pic of fresh stitches)

Basic frame project with a little excitement!

I was making a frame for a Christmas gift when I nearly cut my thumb off. I had already cut the frame pieces and cut a rabbit to accept the glass, but then had to trim some off the 45’s to make the frame fit better. Since I did that now the glass wouldn’t fit so instead of firing up the router again (because it was late) I got the chisel out! I was guarding the tip of the chisel with my thumb/other hand, but let go JUST FOR A SECOND and the chisel slipped. Seven stitches later I returned to the workshop and picked up my chisel again, not the router. I very well could have used it b/c it wasn’t late this time, but I wanted to finish what I started and I wanted to win. It’s worth saying that I left the blood on the chisel as a reminder.
